Chapter 16

The men look at Donte and Michael as Donte says, "babe they deal with security". Chlo says, "oh that sounds interesting". Michael asks, "so Chlo what are your future plans?". Chlo replies, "I haven't thought that far ahead". As they enjoy the food Donte hands Chlo an envelope. She opens it as she sees two tickets for Italy. Chlo is surprised as Donte says, "you wanted to know more about me, so let me take you to my hometown". As Mike calls Donte to the kitchen, Mike hands him a present as Mike says, "Chlo still does not know the truth about who we are"; Donte says, "Mikey I love her". Chlo finishes lunch as she comes to the kitchen and says, "thanks for the meal". Donte kisses Chlo as she leaves. As Chlo comes home she finds Sabrina in the kitchen cooking. Keke and Ayla are in the living room on the couch when Sabrina suddenly touches a hotpot. Chlo comes over and turns off the oven and brings Sabrina's hand to the sink and turns on the cold water. Sabrina cries as Chlo says, "Sabrina I know you miss Paris". Sabrina says, "this is my first Christmas without her".

Chlo gets the first aid box and bandages Sabrina's injury. Chlo says, "how about we give Paris a call?". Sabrina smiles as Chlo gets her laptop and facetime Paris; back in Toronto, Paris is having lunch with Samuel and Lydia when she hears her laptop ringing. She goes over and answers the call as she yells, "CHLO!". Chlo laughs as she says, "wow Paris, you're chirper than usual?". Paris gets up and spins in her sparkly dress as she asks, "what do you think of my outfit?". Chlo replies, "beautiful". Chlo passes the laptop to Sabrina as she waves, "hey sweetie". Paris says, "mom". She gets tears in her eyes as they share an emotional moment with Sabrina saying, "I miss you". Paris replies, "I miss you more". Just then the doorbell rings as Samuel opens and says, "tweety, it's for you". Sabrina smiles as Paris opens to see a Christmas jumper, a framed photo, and a bunny bear. Paris gets tears in her eyes as Sabrina says, "I know how much you love bunny and now you are miles away". Paris says, "this is the best Christmas present ever mom". As they both wipe their tears; Samuel comes over to Paris as Paris brings him to the camera to introduce him. Samuel says, "it's a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Anderson". Sabrina says, "sweetie, you go and enjoy Christmas and I will speak to you soon". Sabrina ends the call as Samuel says, "tweety". Paris wipes her tears as she holds the bunny and Samuel says, "let's go out". he grabs their jackets, and they head out for a walk. A few hours pass back in New York as Chlo has laid the table as Sabrina is resting. Keke and Ayla walk to the kitchen as Chlo serves them milk.
